Unexpectedly, an opportunity to relocate from Ocean City, Maryland, on the east coast, to Rancho Mirage, California, on the west coast, emerged like a welcoming call to return to an area of my life that I thoroughly enjoyed. In 1972 I moved to Hermosa Beach and began an amazing and tumultuous period of my life (to be dealt with more completely later). It was the height of the fun, fun, fun period.
Back to the “move” and the time warp speed in which it took place. We were just in the process of returning from our four-month annual journey west when a house became available in Rancho Mirage, thanks to a caring and resourceful relative. In a period of less than a month, our home in Ocean City was sold, our belongings sorted and packed, and we were off!
