Norway: What’s a country that’s at the top of your bucket list?

Why Norway?

Norway is a Scandinavian country known for its amazinh fjords, beautiful mountains, charming villages, the elusive Northern Lights, and a better quality of life than what we live everyday.  While English is widely spoken, Norwegian is the national language.  The country is characterized by expansive coastlines, mountains, glaciers, thick forests, and thousands of islands.  The most dynamic feature are the fjords and the deep and narrow waterways.  In addition, many travel there to see the Northern Lights and the opposite phenomenon, the Midnight Sun. Oslo is the capitsl, and there are many charming cities and mountains. Why did I select Norway?  My family members keep voting for Norway as the next big trip.  The issue is that the patriarch will be 80 this year, and everyone wants to go there to celebrate since the family is Norwegian.  The big but is that the 80th birthday is in January, and it is too wintry.  Trying to reimagine a great time for the trip, as long as it is not winter.
