You know you are in the south…. traveling Route 41, west of Charleston, in a little town of Johnsonville, SC. The store, called The Skinning Shed, was so interesting I stopped. A friendly lady came up to me with a menu and an invitation to come on in and hold the rattlesnake, which I declined. What a find!! They do deer, wild hog, and alligator processing and they sell all varieties. Her southern accent was so thick I was purring my words for an hour afterward.
