The Blue Highway

You learn more about an area by traveling the roads through it than by reading the map about it.  Traveling down to South Carolina we decided to take the “Blue Highway” through some small towns. Route 501S/301S to 14 to 41S led to a town named Johnsonville where the main trades appear to be Deer, Hog, and Alligator Processing, followed closely by large billboards advertising Car Crushing.

And, we wonder why the differences in America seem insurmountable.
